I had no mentors, no money, and no clue what I was doing. Somehow, after a lot of trial and error, I figured it out: 4.0 GPA, 525 MCAT, multiple acceptances. Now I'm an MD/MBA student at UVA living my best life… and I'm still upset about how needlessly difficult this process is for students.
The pre-med system is broken, overpriced, and built on stress. No one is transparent about what worked for them and the pre-med community gatekeeps endlessly. So after years of working with students 1-on-1 and learning what it takes to succeed, I made something better.
